National Scout Camp 2023.

Venue: International Indian School - Riyadh

Participants: 200 students and 40 teachers from diverse Indian schools in Saudi Arabia. 12 Students and a teacher represented International Indian Public School (IIPS) 

Duration: Thursday, 30 November 2023, to Saturday, 2 December 2023.

Major highlights of the camp are as following: 

Day 1- November 30,2023: Commenced with a Flag Ceremony and the formation of 22 patrols, representing different schools. Duties and responsibilities assigned to each patrol during the opening ceremony. Concluded with a Camp Fire where each patrol showcased cultural programs.

Day 2 - December 1, 2023: Began with Physical Exercise (BP 6), Flag Ceremony and inspection of students' uniforms. Scouts maintained allotted rooms, followed by sessionson First Aid and Pioneering. Second session included games and adventure-based activities. Day concluded with a Grand Campfire where Indian school heads shared valuable messages with the Scouts. 

Day 3 - December 2, 2023: Focused on concluding formalities. All-faiths prayer led by National Commissioner, Mr. Sameer Babu, and General Secretary, Mr.Bino Mathew. Camp ended with unit-wise photography, mass cleaning of the entire camp premises, certificate distribution, and tree plantation by various units. The camp provided valuable life experiences and knowledge to participants. The National Scout Camp 2023 at the International Indian School in Riyadh proved to be an enriching experience, fostering unity, skill development, and cultural exchange among 200 students and 40 teachers from diverse Indian schools in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event showcased a  blend of educational, physical, and cultural activities, reinforcing the essence of scouting in shaping well-rounded individuals. International Indian Public School.
