SAUDI NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION AND ART/CRAFT EXHIBITION
PRIMARY GRADES I, II & III
Saudi National Day is the heart endearing occasion to combine joy and celebration with enforcing the values of development, hard work and respect to the nation. The celebration of this auspicious day is always done with joy and pompous. Students were encouraged to dress in Saudi Arabian traditional costumes to show their respect to the host country and to commemorate the occasion. A grand celebration including dances and other Arab cultural programmes were performed as a tribute to the host country. The day was celebrated as a symbol of unity, victory glory and dignity. Many enthralling cultural performances ranging from patriotic songs to folk dances were performed by the students. The programme commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by the translation in English. Speech delivered by our Principal Mohammad Imran and Kousik of Grade III-C highlighted the history, customs, tradition and culture of Saudi Arabia.
An Arabian Welcome Dance was performed by the tiny tots of first Graders was a delight to watch. A spectacular Arabian sword Dance was performed by the second Graders and at the end a terrific Arabian Folk Dance was performed by the third Graders.
The performances were made possible with the zest and zeal of the teachers of Primary Grades.
The Art and Craft-Exhibition was also held on 25 September 2019. The students from K.G, S.C.C and Grade I-XII participated enthusiastically. Our students proved their talents and excellence especially the Primary Graders. The exhibition included a number of creative works done with delicacy, finesse and the constant efforts of these little artists which drew the visitors’ attention towards them. The visitors marveled at the daintiness of the creativity of these children.
The colour combination and their mind blowing crafts were mesmerizing. The students used very simple and everyday things to show their creativity. There were lamps, beautiful paper dolls, gardens, a park scene, different types of houses, a laptop etc. All their art and crafts were exhibited. It was really surprising that their small and nibbling fingers could result in such wonderful exhibits.
The exhibition was well organized and our art teachers and all the other staff need to be appreciated for their hard work. The students and their parents were highly appreciated for their creativity and talent.
The viewers appreciated them and they were amazed by the incredible and surprising work of these creative children.
It was a great success and a milestone achieved by the students of IIPS.
