Republic day is a remarkable day in the history of India as it is on this day, the constitution of India came into effect. It was on this day when the country’s transformation towards becoming independent had begun. It has been seventy years since India became republic and it is a moment of pride and utmost importance. Every year Republic day is celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school. This year also our teachers put their finest effort and brought forth amazing cultural programme in and honour of the day and to generate great excitement among the students. The atmosphere was filled with spirit of patriotism. Nearly 185 students from Special Care Centre, Kindergarten and Primary Grades (I-III) participated in the programme.

Programme began with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran by Master Saad of Grade III, which was translated by Master Asim of the same Grade. In attendance was the Chairman Dr. Shaikh Abdullah, Admin Director Mr. Senthil Prasad, Principal, Supervisors, teachers and students of S.C.C, K.G and Primary Grades I, II, III. Our Principal Mr. Mohammad Imran kindled the sprit of patriotism in the minds of the students through his morning speech and also inspired to follow the path of the great Indian leaders. The feeling of oneness, love and peace was evoked.
The students from Special Care Centre (Fatima and Arnav), UKG (Hitarth) and Grade III (Anyqa) delivered wonderful speech on the topic Republic Day which was really inspiring. They conveyed their messages and highlighted the importance of Republic Day through their short and lovely speech. Students also performed various cultural activities like patriotic song, patriotic theme dance, group dance, skit and other such activities on the stage. Action song performed by the students of Nursery section was a wonderful feast to the audience. The tiny tots of LKG performed a beautiful dance to the beats of patriotic song which was followed by another marvelous performance by the wonderful kids of UKG. They performed a dance on patriotic song which was a tribute to Indian Army.
The students of Special Care Centre expressed their love for India through a wonderful dance performance. It was a unique and enthralling performance. They performed a patriotic Acapella song under the title “One India Mash up”. Both the participants and audience enjoyed it.
Grade I, II, III students exhibited their talent and patriotic spirit through another wonderful dance performance and conveyed the message of unity in diversity to the students. These performances paid tribute to our freedom fighters and leaders.
The function came to a conclusion with the Saudi National Anthem followed by Indian Nation Anthem. Sweets were distributed to the students which added to their joy. It was a wonderful day and every one enjoyed it.
