CHILDREN’S DAY PRIMARY GRADES I, II, III

Children’s day is a very important day in the life of a child, what reminds the elders about their duties towards their children. A child is like a tender and lovely bud that has just started to bloom. This is the time when the child needs the utmost care of the parents, teachers and all those who are connected with his or her life.

Our school I.I.P.S strives to emerge out something new for its students. Children’s day is a very special and most awaited day for the children. The best part of Children’s Day is that the students do not wear their regular uniform to school. Instead, they put on colourful and best dresses. Our school teacher thought of a plan to celebrate it in a different way.

As we know this day marks the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and his love for children. The teachers have put up a short programme for the students.

Teachers disguise themselves as children and presented singing and dancing performances. Programme started with an impressive speech made by our Principal Dr. Khalid and Afia of Grade II-B. Teachers conducted the assembly and then Grade-I teachers presented an enjoyable dance for the students. After that our Grade-II teachers masqueraded as the fictional characters like Snow White, Fairy, Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel etc. Then a beautiful and mind blowing song was sung by Grade-III teachers.

The most attractive part was the fun fair arranged by the S.C.C students and staff. Children enjoyed playing games and winning gifts. It was a wonderful day.

Children’s Day is all about respecting and honouring children who are considered to be the future leaders of the nation. The students were overwhelmed with the entire efforts. All the school staff and children had a great time that day. Children were given their most favourite thing, ‘Chocolates’. We all enjoyed the day a lot.
