“Our food should be our medicine and our medicine should be our food”
The food we intake has a massive effect on us inside and out. One should be aware and in check of what they intake to stay fit and healthy. To achieve the above and inculcate early healthy eating habits we came up with an active learning activity on different kinds of food and their various benefits which was observed on Thursday, 31 October 2019.
Each class was provided with a topic they had to prepare and present with visually appealing and new ideas, creating more room for children to explore.
The topics covered were Protective Food, Body building food and Energy giving food. The children presented, learnt and participated energetically in this activity. They also learnt about vegetarian and non vegetarian diet.
The children enjoyed the healthy meals they prepared from home and learnt how to avoid junk food as they can have more banes than Boones.
The teachers of every section put in extra efforts into making this activity a grand success.
