Saudi National Day
Saudi National Day is the heart endearing occasion to combine joy and celebration with enforcing the values of development, hard work and respect to the nation. The celebration of this auspicious day is always done with joy and pompous. Students were encouraged to dress in Saudi Arabian traditional costumes to show their respect to the host country. A grand celebration including dances and other Arab cultural prorammes were performed as a tribute to the host country. The day was celebrated as a symbol of unity, victory glory and dignity. Many enthralling cultural performances ranging from patriotic songs to folk dances were performed by the students. The programme started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by the translation in English. Speech delivered by our Principal and Fayha Hussain of Grade III-C highlighted the history, customs, tradition and culture of Saudi Arabia.
The performances were as follows:
A Group Dance was performed on Swag Arabic version by the tiny tots of first Grade was delight to watch.
A spectacular Saudi Traditional Dance was performed by the second Graders.
A terrific Arabian Folk Dance performed by the third Graders.
The performances were made possible with the zest and zeal of the teachers of Primary Grades. A separate exhibition was also organised in the school to mark this occasion.
